Light Ash farm was previously a Lancashire dairy farm, and had been for many years. Now the home of the Morgan family, Edith a farmers daughter decided back in 2012 she would like to develop the disused barn into an outlet for local produce, a subject Edith is passionate about.

With a Farm Shop, Cook Shop, fabulous food and lots of free parking, all surrounded by lovely Lancashire countryside, Barton Grange Garden Centre is a great day out.
Bradshaw’s farm shop has been established for over 35 years. Originally, it was a dairy farm that also kept a few hundred hens. The Bradshaw family decided to start selling the farms own free range eggs (which remain very popular today) from the front of the house.
This local village store is also the village post office meaning a visit can “kill 2 birds with 1 stone” as you have all the usual post office facilities plus the convenience of shopping for those everyday necessities like milk, eggs and sugar.

Our first foray into business was selling home-reared pork from a stall in our garage. While it seems a million miles from the purpose-built farm shop and food halls that we call home today, not much has really changed. Here’s how we’ve grown our family business
The Smelly Bakery is on our site and are open through the week including Saturday and have an online shop selling lovely handmade bath and shower products. We also sell gift boxes full of goodies for kids and adults too.

The nearest Booth’s Supermarket is situated a few miles up the A6 in Garstang and sell the usual fayre plus wines, beers and spirits
The well known family favourite, Aldi, has a store in Garstang. With an emphasis on great value, you can pick up some cheap groceries when visiting the Moss Lane Caravan Park.
The closest supermarket is Sainsbury’s and is located just 5 miles away in Garstang where you can buy all your favourite household products.
